About the Event:

 

As part of the ongoing PresentAbsent Programme at YUNT, the workshop titled “EncounteringSituating” will be conducted by the exhibition curators Meriç Öner and Merve Elveren. The workshop aims to open up a discussion on curatorial practices and modes of working together by focusing on the processes through which exhibitions are formed. The event will be held at YUNT on Saturday, 17 January from 11:00 to 14:00.

 

Throughout the workshop, a shared space for reflection and discussion will be created around questions of how objects, narratives, ideas, and contexts come together within an exhibition, and how exhibitions operate as places of compromise.

 

The language of the event is Turkish.
