The city, which has been the representative domain of civilization since ancient times, emerges as a phenomenon with constantly changing boundaries due to the continuous transformation of physical and social environments. Dynamics such as construction and infrastructure activities, population mobility, environmental sustainability concerns, economic developments, and technological advancements make it necessary to contemplate the city. The complex structure of the city shaped by different dynamics necessitates a redefinition of the city. Making this definition includes the potential to understand both the continuity and changes in the development of the city from the past to the present, as well as projecting towards the future of the city.

The speech program titled "Rethinking the Boundaries of the City," which is being prepared as part of the "Where is the City?" exhibition by YUNT, continues throughout the "The City Unseen" exhibition as well. The sessions, to be moderated by Prof. Dr. Eva Şarlak, aim to popularize thinking practices about the city.

Within the scope of the speech program, speakers will approach the boundaries of the city from different perspectives. Each session will occur under a separate subheading, and reading recommendations will be shared with participants before each session.
