About The Event
Academician and artist Sinan Logie has been exploring the periphery of Istanbul on foot for the last ten years.
In this context, the book "Istanbul 2023", written together with Yoann Morvan, was published by İletişim Yayınları in 2017.
Saturday, December 2"Where is the City?" held at Sinan Logie, YUNT at 12.30 on invites the audience to a walk within the scope of the exhibition. The route, which will start from the entrance gate of Aydos Castle, will take us to the top of Aydos, the highest hill in Istanbul. During the walk, Logie will tell the participants about the transformation processes of the megapolis and convey the hidden aspects of the landscape.
The route, which will take three and a half hours, will end in YUNT. After the walk, you will be given the opportunity to look at the exhibition from a different perspective.
Quota: 20 people
Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, suitable walking shoes and water.

About the Artist:
SİNAN LOGIE (b. 1973, Brussels) graduated from the Free University of Brussels, Victor Horta Faculty of Architecture. He had his first architectural experiences at L'Escaut Architectures, one of the most progressive offices in Belgium. The artist settled in Istanbul in 2011. Since 2013, in addition to his architecture and art studies, he has been teaching undergraduate and graduate studios at Bilgi University. Sinan Logie has been working with Öktem Aykut since 2014. His book titled 'Istanbul 2023', written together with Yoann Morvan and discussing the sprawl of the city, was published by B2 Publishing House in Paris in the fall of 2014. The Turkish version of the book was presented to readers by İletişim Publishing House in 2017.
