"This Is Not A Line"

Born in 1961 in Istanbul, he is a literary scholar, art theorist, and lecturer. He studied literary studies, art history, and philosophy in Istanbul, Salzburg, and Vienna. He worked at various universities in Istanbul, at the Faculty of Architecture of Mardin Artuklu University, and at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna. He has been teaching at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (honorary professor) in Leipzig and at the University of Art in Linz. His books include Mithat Şen and the Body (Kaknüs, 1999), Noli me tangere (Kaknüs, 2000), İmgenin Pornografisi (Metis, 2003), Külük Cemaatleri (Tekhne, 2016), Çizginin Vaculuğu (2025).
